Description
A resin 3D print, with a M3 stud on the back for mounting to the model. This coupling was drawn from measurements taken from one of the FR Goods vehicles.
The Type B comes with a 1mm hole through the coupling. This is for a wire to be inserted and formed in to a hook at the top and a loop at the base. This makes you models’ couplings look just like the prototypes on the FR but has the functionality of the more practical overhead chain method of coupling. Prototypical hook and link can then be hung underneath the coupling to represent the prototypical coupling method.

Our 3D printed couplings or detailing accessories are all 3D printed in-house on one of our resin printers. They are usually printed in grey resin, although we do occasionally use black or white.
We clean all of the parts in IPA to ensure that all uncured resin is removed. The parts may require a quick once-over with a high-grade sandpaper to remove any remaining marks of the supports used in printing.
