At H Jones Engineering we offer a variety of design and manufacturing services. We have worked with a wide variety of SMEs to design and produce various parts and tools. Below is a list of our services, but we welcome enquiries for all manner of projects, both large and small. We can work with you from the very beginning of your project with our CAD design service, and we have the capability to reliably manufacture parts in a wide variety of materials.
Laser Cutting
Laser cutting is the backbone of our model engineering business. We have the tools available to cut MDF, plywood and a variety of plastics. We are also happy to discuss laser cut metal parts; get in touch for more information.
3D Printing
We have the capacity to 3D print in a variety of materials, including resin, ABS and PLA. Combined with our CAD design service, we are able to design and print components even if you don’t have a file already prepared.
CNC Machining
Our Rambo V5 (Yes, it is actually made by a firm called Rambo!) 3 axis CNC turret mill has a 1000x300x180mm capacity. It can make anything from nameplates to locomotive frames! We also have a CNC lathe.
Rebuilds & Repairs
We have experience of repairing and rebuilding all manner of equipment, from agricultural machinery to gin making equipment for a local distillery. If yours is broken, we will do our best to get it repaired for you.
CAD Design
With decades of combined experience, we are able to assist in the design process of a wide variety of products.
Manual Machining
Our high-precision manual machines are set up and ready to go. CNC isn’t always the best manufacturing solution; with our skills and experience, we are able to repair and produce a wide variety of custom parts.
